Annual General Meeting

The CIEA Annual General Meeting has been scheduled to be held on Thursday 7 October 2010 from 1330 to 1430 hours at Congress Centre, 28 Great Russell Street, London WC1B3LS.
The aims of the AGM are

Confirm the minutes of the previous year's AGM;
To receive a report of the business for the previous financial year;
To receive the Trustees' report and the accounts for the financial year (just ended);
To elect the auditors for the coming financial year;
To receive the results of membership elections and confirm new appointments into post.

Attendance at the meeting (of eligible members); questions and member resolutions are only accepted if received in writing, to the Institute Secretary, at least 48 hours before the meeting.

Registering attendance at the 2010 Annual General Meeting

As an eligible voting member (Associate, Member or Fellow) of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors, you are entitled to attend, speak and vote at a general meeting.

Attending the AGM in person isn't the only way to join in.

If you choose not to attend the general meeting, you are entitled to appoint a proxy to exercise all or any of your rights to attend, speak and vote at a general meeting of the company. A proxy must be another eligible voting member of the CIEA.
A formal invitation has already been issued to all eligible members - if you have not received the invitation or have any questions regarding the Annual General Meeting, please contact ciea-agm@ciea.org.uk.

There will be an opportunity to meet the Chairman and the Trustees after the formal proceedings have finished.
