What the IEA can do for you
The IEA is focused on helping all assessors, whether classroom based or not, have access to the support, guidance and materials they need to carry out their role effectively and to the highest standards.
The IEA currently operates a comprehensive website, through which assessors can access:
- relevant news and information on forthcoming events
- an online community of assessors, with whom members can discuss and share opinions
- information on training and qualifications, including the IEA's Professional Framework and its work on developing Chartered status for qualified assessors
- explanatory material on the exams process
- archives of the IEA's magazine, Make the Grade, which is distributed to members on a termly basis
- over 8,000 periodicals, articles, research reports and other documents about educational assessment from all over the world
- access to on-going CPD
