CPD Planning & Review Sheets
After you have carried out CPD it is equally important to review your personal and professional development (Step 4).
- Did the activity meet your objectives?
- Was the objective met within your time scale?
- Have you changed your assessment practice?
- How have you improved your assessment practice?
- Has your learners' experience improved?
- Have further areas of development been highlighted?
- Can you link your new learning to existing practice?
Before you carry out further CPD it is important to take 'time out' to reflect on
the following questions:
- What are your overall objectives?
- What are your priorities?
- How will your objectives be carried out?
- Who can help you?
- What support will you need?
- What is the time scale?
- When do you propose to review this activity?
- Are there any costs associated with the activity?
At this stage you should update the 'status' section of your CIEA CPD
Planning and Review sheets and if new areas for development have been identified you should add them to the form. A new (or updated) version of your CPD Planner will also need to be completed.
