	Members' areas on our website Where regular forums allow you to follow and contribute to discussions about assessment in your own specialist subject as well as the latest in hot topics.			Continuing professional development (CPD) You can identify your own Continuing professional development pathway - based on the skills and abilities needed for good assessment practice - and develop your learning in conjunction with tools and techniques available from the Institute.
	Knowledge centre Members get access to the latest research, information and articles through more than 8,000 periodicals available in our knowledge centre.			Events and networking opportunities These events give you the chance to hear from experienced professionals on how to develop your expertise, as well as meet other educational assessors to share ideas and exchange experiences.
	Make the Grade All members receive this magazine each term, featuring the latest on educational assessment from different sectors and countries - including news, interviews, case studies, research and cutting edge thinking.			CIEA Professional Framework This member resource details those activities that form part of the assessment of teaching and learning, and which contribute to good assessment practice. The framework is extremely useful for discovering strengths and for highlighting professional development needs.
	Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) Members can apply for professional indemnity insurance via the Members area of the CIEA website. Endsleigh Insurance Services Ltd underwrites this service and an annual premium applies.			Taxation Advice and Remote Self-Assessment Service The CIEA has teamed up with leading online partner company Tax Watchdog, to provide a specialist advice on taxation. Members can access a free Tax Helpline and FAQs, as well as a remote tax self-assessment service.
	Vacancy Service CIEA Vacancy Service, powered by TES jobs, is the UK's number one site for assessment-related jobs in education. With more jobs than any other UK website and new positions posted every Friday, it is the best way to look for your next move, in the UK or overseas.			Times Educational Supplement Discount The CIEA can now offer members an exclusive £17* off the full price of an annual subscription when paying via quarterly Direct Debit payments. 	Personality Profiling Members can access free personality tests on the PeopleMaps website. The completed test Generates a free mini report that can help members improve their CV writing and interview skills/techniques.			Chartered Assessor Status As part of its Qualifications and Training package, the CIEA will be able to offer members the opportunity to become accredited as Chartered Assessors. This new qualification will be instrumental in helping to sustain and improve a robust and reliable assessment system that is directly aligned to teaching and learning.
	Post-nominals (letters after your name) Members of the Institute are entitled to use the CIEA letters after their names.			Anti-Plagiarism Software The CIEA has partnered with anti-plagiarism software provider, TURNITIN, to offer members 20% discount on various TURNITIN anti-plagiarism services.
	Resource Provider Discount The CIEA has partnered with a number of reputable publishers and resource providers, including Harcourt, Butterworth and Heinemann, to offer members at least 15% off (plus free postage and packing).			Online professional networking opportunities Members can access assessment-related Special Interest Groups and regional networking groups.
