Recent research undertaken by CIEA indicated that the majority of assessment advisers operating in local authorities have been displaced with a resulting cut in service provision to schools. At the same time primary heads report that one of the top challenges facing schools this year is access to the right level of support.

By utilising the services of Chartered Educational Assessors working in partnership with schools, assessment practice can be enhanced for the benefit of learner as part of a new accountability review.
