CIEA Regional Network Launch
The CIEA is pleased to announce the launch of a new regional online networking service (powered by LinkedIn). It is hoped the new regional 'groups' will contribute significantly towards facilitating good practice, sharing advice and supporting debate on assessment-related topics.
These groups will allow for lively online discussion forums, up-to-the-minute CIEA news, as well as the opportunity to connect with other members to share good practice and knowledge.
Inaugural regional networks include:
West Midlands - managed by Paula Goddard MCIEA
East Midlands - managed by David Sharpe FCIEA CEA
London - managed by Paul Bowers Isaacson FCIEA CEA & Joanna Goodman FCIEA
North East - managed by Carol Davenport MCIEA, Brian Crossland FCIEA CEA and Joan Vallely FCIEA CEA
South East - provisionally managed by Richard Gott, CIEA Membership Manager
North West - managed by Cliff Parry FCIEA
South West - managed by Tom Wilks MCIEA and Trevor Cope MCIEA
Northern Ireland - managed by Anthony McCourt FCIEA
A Main CIEA Regional Network group has also been created to facilitate inter-regional networking.
How to join
In order to participate in these groups, you will be required to register your name and email address with LinkedIn to gain access to the networks, and you can select if you wish to receive e-updates from your selected region.

The regional network pilot will run until March 2010 when a full evaluation will take place.
