Liberal Democrats - Equity and Excellence: Policies for 5-19 Education in England's Schools and Colleges

CIEA

This policy paper sets out plans to narrow the gap between the state and private sector, raising funding for the most disadvantaged pupils to private school levels and delivering extra money to cut infant class sizes to 15.

The CIEA has developed the role of a Chartered Educational Assessor. The role of the CEA is to quality assure the assessment processes that a school, college or training centres use. This could be in a single school or college, across a federation of institutions, within a workplace, or across a consortium.

For further information about the role of Chartered Educational Assessor please click here.

The policy paper outlines the need for a Chartered Educational Assessor in every school who would be responsible for the quality of internal assessment.
