The resources on this site are aimed at student teachers and newly qualified teachers (NQTs), although other teachers may find them useful. This document covers the basics of assessment for NQTs in primary and secondary schools.
The first set of resources looks at the guiding principles behind assessment and include what to assess, how to assess and when to assess. There are also hints and tips relating to handling data and setting appropriate targets.
