CEA Training and Assessment event - Glasgow
Learning and Teaching Scotland (LTS) asked the CIEA to deliver a CEA training and assessment programme to a
number of local authority and LTS officers from
Deputy Heads at the Premier Inn on March 3rd and 4th.The event took place at the Radisson hotel,
February 12th and 13th.

These particular events were aimed specifically at the Scottish audience and the Scottish context of assessment. However, the CIEA team stressed the importance of the process. Although the content and the context may change, the processes remain the same.
In total 32 delegates were chosen to take part in the events. The events followed the now familiar pattern of looking at the processes that lie within the Professional Framework:
Preparing for Assessment
Conducting Assessment
Feeding Back after Assessment
Managing Oneself
Managing Others
Since this was both a training and assessment event, the CIEA team made clear to the delegates that they would be continuously assessed, with their understanding of the Professional Framework and its application to any assessment process scrutinised.
Delegates focused on the Scottish context and delegates will focus their portfolios on the Scottish context.
Evaluations
