This course is aimed at all those who are involved in leading and managing quality assurance processes relating to assessment in any institution. It will aim to give delegates a good understanding of how to create a consistent approach to the application of whole institution internal assessment procedures leading to robust practice, increased professionalism and a better outcome for your learners.

The aim of this course, delivered to suit your personal circumstances and needs will be to summarise and reinforce:

·         the key requirements for effective internal assessment

·         developing and implementing an effective assessment policy

·         leading effective standardisation and moderation procedures

·         creating effective databases for your institution

·         interrogating those databases effectively

·         managing teams of assessors

This course is designed to give those responsible for managing assessment in any institution a way of quality assuring the assessment procedures in that institution. These procedures will help you to improve standards across your institution.
