IEA Launch Event

As the body responsible for representing assessment professionals, the C IEA wants to make sure that appropriate training and development are available to members. One of the key strengths of the CIEA Professional Framework is that it enables members to evaluate their own performance and identify any areas for personal development.

The CIEA is currently investigating a portfolio of courses to support its members' development throughout a career in assessment, from entry to senior assessor. Courses provide a link to the Professional Framework so that members can see how they will enhance their competence as assessors. We are evaluating the options of working with partners, such as existing suppliers, teacher associations and the unitary awarding bodies, as well as establishing new courses and new delivery methods to meet the range of members' needs.
