Support for the Assessment of Diplomas

The CIEA is pleased to announce a package of support for schools and colleges in the delivery of the Diplomas from September 2008. Alongside tools, resources and training in good assessment practice, the CIEA is also offering the services of their network of Chartered Educational Assessors to allow consortia to ensure consistency in the application of internal assessment between different diplomas so meeting the requirements of the role of Lead Assessor.

The CIEA will help to provide support for all consortia wishing to improve internal assessment in line with the requirements of the diploma. For more detailed information, please click here.

 

On July 29th a number of CEAs met in London to explore and examine the issues surrounding the internal assessment of the diploma. Delegates were introduced to the structure of the diplomas and their separate lines of learning, the generic skills and additional and specialist learning.
